Privacy policy

1. Who is responsible

PROJECT82 LLC, 30 N Gould St, STE R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA, is responsible for this data. The person responsible for privacy is the representative of PROJECT82 LLC. Privacy requests and complaints are received by our customer support team at jin@project82.kr or +1 307-218-8877.

2. What we collect

• At checkout: your email address, your product URL, your product category and your language.
• At payment, collected by Stripe on its own pages: your card details and billing details. We never receive the card number. Stripe tells us the amount, the currency, whether the payment succeeded and a checkout reference.
• After payment: the product brief you confirm, meaning a product name, a one-line introduction and a short description, plus your confirmation that you may submit it.
• While we work: the status of each submission, any note from the check, and the link to a live page when one is found.
• Technical: one private cookie that identifies your order in your browser. We store only a hashed version of its value. Requests to checkout and recovery are counted against a hashed form of your network address to stop abuse. There are no analytics or advertising cookies.

3. Why we use it

• To take payment for and deliver the launch you bought.
• To show your launch board and let you get back to it.
• To answer support requests and verify that a request comes from the order’s owner.
• To protect the service from abuse and to keep records the law requires.

4. Who receives it

• Stripe, which processes the payment as a processor for us. Stripe’s own privacy policy covers what it collects on its pages.
• The supported sites shown at checkout receive your product name, introduction, description and URL, and your email address where their form requires one. From that point each site handles the data under its own policy; we cannot delete a listing on a site for you.
• Our submission worker, a system we run, which receives the brief in order to fill each site’s form.
• Vercel hosts the website and processes web requests in the United States. Supabase stores order and submission records in Seoul, South Korea. Stripe processes payments in the United States. Your checkout email and product details are therefore sent to the United States and South Korea, which may be outside the country where you live. We send them because that is needed to deliver the launch you bought.

5. How long we keep it

• Payment records, meaning the order number, checkout email, amount, payment date and any refund, are kept for 5 years from the payment date and then deleted. This is for tax and transaction record-keeping.
• An unpaid checkout that has been confirmed expired is removed after 30 days from its creation.
• Your product brief, the status and listing link for each site, and the keys that open your launch board are deleted 12 months after the payment date. After that, the launch board can no longer be opened.
• Support emails are deleted 3 years after we receive them.
• Rate-limit records are deleted after one day. The order cookie expires in your browser after 90 days.
• Deleted data can remain in our database provider’s backups until those backups rotate, and is then gone for good.
• Stripe keeps its own records of the payment subject to its policies. We cannot delete those for you.
• To have your data deleted earlier, ask as described in section 6. Payment records stay for the 5-year period.

6. Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email jin@project82.kr. We confirm the request by replying to the checkout email address before we act. Deleting your order data does not remove listings that sites have already published; ask each site directly for those. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.

7. How we protect it

• The site is served over HTTPS only.
• Order keys and private access links are random, are stored only as hashes, and each private link works once.
• The order cookie cannot be read by scripts in the page and expires after 90 days.
• Card data never reaches our servers.

8. Changes and contact
